Arlene was born and raised in San Angelo, Texas. 

After graduating with honors from Austin College, she attended law school at Texas Tech University School of Law and joined the firm of Crenshaw, Dupree & Milam.

Arlene has been practicing law in Lubbock and all of West Texas since 2000. Her practice includes appellate work as well as insurance defense litigation, including medical malpractice, construction defect litigation, and work-related injuries.

Arlene volunteers extensively with the American Cancer Society, and has served on the Cattle Baron’s Ball committee, the Hope Lodge Derby Day Run for the Roses committee, and the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the Lubbock Unit.

She also serves on the Covenant Foundation Board of Directors and is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Lubbock and past president of the Lubbock Symphony Guild.
